About Suddenly Single Women!

This meetup group is for single women, whether they are divorced, separated, or have never been married at all.
The difference about this group, however, is that it is MEMBER driven.
Neither Melissa or myself believe that two people (or however many run the board) should be responsible for meetups, whether it be hosting them, coming up with ideas, or a combination of the two.
So please feel free to speak your mind, and know that eventually you will get poked and asked to host some event....especially if you came up with the idea in the first place!! (wink)
If you are unhappy with the group for some reason, please do let us know. We aren't going to sit up on our polished throne somewhere and look down at you and say "So what? We run things...you're just a piece of lint in our oh so perfect navel!"
We want to make this group as unique as possible. Right now in some respects it probably doesn't seem that way, but give us time. We have to learn to crawl before we learn to walk.
All generalities aside, I will tell you that I would like this to be a support group in more ways than just 'get togethers'.
I have some ideas for actual therapeutic meetings, for example, getting together to talk about toxic relationships and how to avoid them.
As I said, not your ordinary group.
And IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS....they are as welcome as pizza (which is always very welcome to ME even though it's not to my scales the next morning).
