I am going to be out of town on the 13th so I have had to change the initial meeting to Friday, May 23rd at the Cat n' Fiddle pub on 16th Avenue and 5th St. NW. What a great way to end the workweek, with meeting some new friends and determining an action plan for the Calgary Single Women's Social Meetup. Our first meeting will also be our first outing! We will meet at 8pm; lots of parking in the back and side streets.

The meeting on Friday, May 23rd 2008 will be about introductions and ideas on what we would all like to do. I have quite a few ideas to contribute but I would like to hear from all interested women to see where everyone's interests lie so that we can ensure a fun time is had by all!

8:00pm: Meet at the Cat n' Fiddle
8:15pm: Introductions
8:30pm: Brainstorming session (as I said, I have a few ideas and would like to hear more from you)
9:00pm: Wrapping up ideas, with plans and dates for outings
9:15pm-onwards: Continue with the evening. Stay at the pub and have some fun! It is a Friday night, after all!!!

    • “ It was great. Though some women didn't show up the ones who attended made connections with others. We have already planned another outing next Friday! We decided to have mini meetings before our events; no certain day will be chosen but the dates will revolve around the dates of the events. ”
    • “ First meeting I thought was excellent. We all got to know one another and already made plans for the first activity. Got lots of ideas for other outings. ”
