About Birmingham Ladies Night Out

I started this group as a way to make friends outside of my office and to experience events in the area that I might have otherwise missed. My goal for this group is that it grows into an active group with many members who can contribute many different ideas and experiences to the other members. It is my hope that everyone will be vocal with ideas about where to hold our monthly meetup as well as information about other events that are going on in the area. Just because a certain event does not fall on our regular meetup night does not mean that the information cannot be posted on the message boards. Not all of our meetings have to be held in a restaurant or bar, we can go see a movie as a group, go to a concert or play, or anything that sparks our interest as a group. This is your group and I want everyone to feel like they can speak up, speak their minds and help make this group wonderful. Remember, this is your group and it can only be as great as the members themselves.

In an attempt to protect our members from unwanted email contact from people who are not members of our group, I have made this group private. I believe that this will help provide some privacy and security for our members. Please fill out the profile section and upload a picture and you will be granted access to the group. If you do not add a picture to your profile, I will be unable to approve your membership. Again, I apologize for any difficulties that this may cause but this is an attempt to protect our members.
