About Nashville Hip Chicks Meetup

Hi Ladies:

Are you looking to get out of the house and meet others in your area to have dinner with; or just hang out with? Well than you have come to the right place.

Welcome to the Nashville Hip Chicks Meetup. This group is for ladies that live in or around the Nashville area. Most of our events will be held in Nashville with some events in other local surrounding areas.

We will try to schedule a few different activities, meetings or pure social gatherings every month. The goal is to foster friendships and good old girl friend time. There will be events throughout the year that your spouse or significant other is welcome to attend. We believe in maintaining balance and harmony with those that are important in our lives.

The goal is to create an inviting and welcoming environment at every event that will be designed to encourage new friendships. While the group continues to thrive and grow, our hope is that our events will remain intimate and welcoming where you will get to know other members beyond casual acquaintance.

Although we have made the initial effort to start this group, your input, thoughts, and ideas, will be essential in making our gatherings fun, interesting and fulfilling. Remember, this is YOUR group. Everyone has a say in this group, so feel free to come with any suggestions you might have or just send us an email.

The Purpose of the Group is to meet other ladies in our local area and have FUN!



Choosing & Scheduling Events
We'll add things that interest us... and ANYONE can suggest an event. If you want to go skydiving or go sing karaoke--that's fine. Post a message and if there's interest we'll add it to the event list.

Not only can you suggest an event, you can even lead it. Just let us know if that is something you would like to do. Remember, the more people who participate in the group, the better our group will be!

Basic Membership Rules
Hopefully we won't need to worry about kicking anyone out of the group... However, you are highly encouraged to attend an event within 60 days of joining the group. If you have not attended an event and no one in the group has ever met you then you may be deleted from the group. This is for the safety and security of our members.

Profile Picture
A profile picture is also very important because it allows the group members to recognize each other when we meet at the different locations and it is another way of becoming acquainted. This is a private group, therefore, your picture will only be viewed by other members of this group. If you do not have a recent photo, let us know and we will take one at the next event and help you get it posted. We do ask that you post a photo of you and not of a pet or other object.

Attending Events/Inactivity
We realize that everyone can't participate in every event, but if you haven't logged on for over a month you'll be considered an "INACTIVE MEMBER" and you will be removed from the group. Also, If you constantly say "No" to events or ido not RSVP either "yes, maybe or no" for 5 consecutive events, you may be deleted. So please take the time to RSVP to the Meetups to show signs of life and interest in the group. The purpose of this group is to get out and meet other members.

Solicitation
This is a Social Meetup, not a business networking Meetup. Please do not use the Meetup events to promote your home based business.

Importance of RSVP
This information is used to prepare the event and to gauge interest. Please only RSVP "yes" for events if you are sure you can attend. A "yes" RSVP should be treated like any other commitment you would make. If you told your friend you were going to meet her at a park, you would let her know if something came up and you couldn't make it. Please provide the same courtesy to your friends here. It is very disappointing to attend an event that had a large number of "yes" RSVPs only to see a few actually show up! So please change your RSVP with as much notice if possible. Members who "no-show" on a "yes" rsvp more than 3 times are subject to removal.

Now that those details are out of the way, LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!
