We have a very special guest, a distinguished author, political thinker and activist who has been
Deeply involved in political and economic changes happening in Venezuela and Brazil. His name: Dada Maheshvarananda.
He is an American citizen, an excellent speaker, and a man who has bee on the front lines of social revolution for the last 25 years.

Dada will talk about fighting poverty and inequality in Latin America with personal perspectives and progressive examples. He will discuss what Hugo Chavez has accomplished in Venezuela, both successes and failures. His recent book, ?After Capitalism? received rave reviews from
People writing on Amazon.com.

For anyone interested in social justice and especially in Latin America, this talk should be a real treat.
Lunch begins at noon in the Café at the San Jose Holiday Inn (formerly the San Jose Hyatt), 1740 N. First St.
(close to the 101 Exit). The café is on your right in the main part of the hotel as you walk back towards the hotel.
