I am a 43 year old Upper East Sider, in a committed relationship for 6 years, and the mother of 2 teens. I am a healthcare professional and enjoy my work very much. I recently relocated from the Washington DC area and am hoping to meet my neighbors

    But once you tell men that a woman is 40+ they think #1 she's fat. I'm 5 pounds more than in my 20's, a size 4. I pass for late 20's on a good day; I'm often taken for an actress. Can't stand when men treat you badly based on false ideas i.e. you're desperate. Wouldn't be interested in many of em anyway. Their attitude is depressing, demoralizing. There must be a more dignified way to meet. ”
