I'm thrilled to be able to host our May gathering in my home. Since my husband will be out of town this night, us gals can enjoy the run of the place!

Let's plan on making this a potluck type of event. I'll organize a sign up list sort of thing in a bit, so that folks can volunteer to bring what they'd like (but we don't end up with 10 desserts, or would that be a good thing?).

    Annette was great! Of course once one person decided it was time to go, the rest did too.... but Annette and I stayed chatting it up till 3am. Thanks for the great conversation and company! :)

    Since Joan cancelled due to construction, I can have the meeting at my house. I can fit about 20-30 people here. Annette's house 3916 Joanne Drive Glenview, IL 847-480-0565

Who attended?

    • “ It was my first time, and while I was a little nervous going in, I saw immediately I was in good company. We ranged in age from the mid '20's to the late '50's and never once did the conversation lag due to the diversity of age. Women are women. Annette was so generous in having a complete pasta meal ready for us. That coupled with the pot luck dishes we brought, insured a feast, which we spent about three hours eating. The small group allowed us all to sit around an intimate dinner table and all enjoy one conversation at a time. That way no one had to miss one juicy bit of chat. Everything we discussed, from the enviroment, the government, employment...to men was rousing and entertaining. I so enjoyed meeting Annette, Joan, Lucy, Jenny, Miriam, and Marita and look forward to seeing them all again at a future meeting. Maybe some day at my house! ”
