Georgia Gems is a group of women united by a common goal- ELEVATING SISTERHOOD! We are uniting to set the example of what friendship, girlfriends, support, appreciation and other things really mean to us as individuals. We are not a group that is interested in numbers. We are only interested in true/dedicated members, who will enhance the concept that we are trying to bring forth. We are about QUALITY not QUANTITY!
A girlfriend knows your deep dark secrets, but likes you anyway.
Girlfriends are like your favorite lipsticks; they come in many colors, they help you look great, and are all about the smiles and laughter.

Members profiles should be completed with a photo included
Members should promote positivity at all times
Member must be at least 21 years of age
INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER- Members are selected on an ongoing basis.
Attending Events- We recognize that not everyone will have the opportunity to participate in every event however, if you have not logged onto the site in over a month, been "INACTIVE" for over 45 days and continue to rsvp "NO" for most events- you will be considered an "INACTIVE MEMBER" and removed from the group.
Importance of RSVP'S- To say that we appreciate when members RSVP "yes or no" is an understatement! This information is highly important! We use this information to prepare for the event, gauge interest and make arrangements with different venues to accommodate our group. Please try and give us accurate RSVP's whenever you RSVP for an event. If a member has 2 or more "NO SHOWS", AFTER HAVING RSVP'D "YES" FOR AN EVENT- they will be subject to removal from this group. All we ask is that you follow up and follow through- noone wants to wait around on a person who has no intentions on showing up.
Solicitation- Georgia Gems is not a business networking group. We will have different events to allow our members the opportunity to network within but, please DO NOT join this group solely to promote your business endeavors.
Volunteering- Volunteering is EXTREMELY important and weighs heavily on you being considered an active member of this group. We will not party together- if we can't support our communities together.
Group Paraphernalia- All members must purchase Georgia Gems t-shirts.
