The purpose of this Meetup is to get together at leisure to uplift the well-being and global image of African Women from both the continent and the Diaspora. We will share our experiences, reinforce each other, celebrate women of Africa and African descent who are impacting the community on various platforms, and engage in philanthropic and volunteer activities to empower the African girl-child. This group will organize themed social gatherings from African tea parties, book events, dance classes and more, allowing everyone to enjoy African cultural experiences, yet still make a difference. Meetings will focus on topics of interest, and as needed, guest speakers will be featured to inspire and educate us on numerous topics.
