WHO THE GROUP WOULD LIKE TO ATTRACT: Women, 30 and older, classy, down to earth, productive, optimistic attitude, diverse, pleasant to be around, available at least once a month.
THINGS TO DO: coffee/brunch, cocktails, museums, day trips, weekend trips, 'Dinner & a Movie', wine tasting, 'Girls Night Out', concerts/plays/ballet/opera (for members who are interested), casual get-togethers (hosted at a member's home), snow trip for couples (or something fun for 'two'), potluck picnic, karaoke bar, pampering/treating oneself, hanging out/chatting it up.
THINKING AHEAD: Host a trip to the CA/NV state line (August 2, 2008), fundraising for special cause, 'Adopt a Senior Citizen' (who has no family locally), 'Christmas Wish' (elect family in need - each member can nominate someone), 'Easter Wish' (buy Easter clothes and baskets for children of elected family in need), meet up and bond with other social groups (men or women) in L.A.
JUST BEING THERE: Celebrations, Support, Mentoring
