In particular, if you're looking for new girlfriends that you can call true friends, I encourage you to read the meeting up to make new friends section. MeetUps provide a format for meeting other women who also want to make some changes to their social network BUT simply attending events doesn't necessarily lead to developing the kinds of friendships that you may be seeking. In addition to attending events, you'll want to make a proactive effort as described in the About Us pages :o)

This group welcomes women from all over the metro Indianapolis area, but due to new SPAMbot targeting of meetup groups, I had to change the membership from completely open to one that requires me to approve all new members. Don't sweat the answers to your profile questions - I won't be judging them and you WILL get approved :o) I will try to get all approvals made within 24 hours of receiving a request.
