We'll meet at 6:30pm, please be on time as it's considered especially rude, by this restaurant, to be late.
The dinner will consist of 5 courses, all of which are quite yummy. We will be served family style, so everyone will get to try little bit of everything. Please let me know in advance if you are vegetarian or vegan, so we can set up tables accordingly. For those of you who haven't had it before, Moroccan food is not spicy.
A fun twist on eating family style is that we will also be eating with our hands. I would recommend not wearing skirts or dresses, as we will also be sitting on the floor. I've taken lots of groups to Marrakesh and it's always a great bonding experience.
We will also have live belly dancing entertainment during dinner, so feel free to bring cameras and $1 bills for tips.
Finally, the cost of the 5 course meal is $19. Please bring cash, so that our lucky server doesn't have to run 30 cards. Please make sure you take into account adding tip (18% is customary with large groups) and whatever you'll have to drink (juice, wine, beer etc.)
A note on RSVPs, Breanne and I are generally very laid back about no-shows, but I can't be for this event. I had to put a deposit down and they will charge me $19 per person that does not show up, so please make sure that you update your RSVPs. Please don't change your RSVP to no, less then 24 hours before the event, as I will most likely not be able replace you in time. If the event fills up and you want to be on the wait list, please e-mail me your phone number, so that I can easily contact people if spots open up. If there is some sort of emergency my number is below, please call me so we can work something out.
