Why Magick Happens! How to find the organizer(s) "look for the Pirate" --Michelle Details Prepare For Faire Costume Party! Wednesday May 7th We'll be heading out to Scarborough Faire on May 10th, so let's use this Wednesday to help each other with our costume preparations! Come Dressed in your Warrior / Faire Garb and help others with Ideas and costumes, especially for those that don't have a costume yet. We have many talented costume designers in the group and this is a great chance to get together to share talents and Ideas before we go to Scarby on Saturday. Check out Riot's designs on myspace at our Message Board for links and contact info to our costume designers and/ or post your own info if you'd like to offer your services. Sometimes the simplest ideas can make the most dramatic differences to appearance! Need help with your Costume? If you don't yet have an Idea for your costume, think about maybe doing a Belly dancer, it's one of the easiest to put together in a short amount of time and it's comfortable on a hot day! Garment exchange: Bring fabrics, hats, scarves, beads, bells or jewels, to loan, donate or use for yourself and/or others. Thrift stores and goodwill are great inexpensive places to find exotic fabrics and costume jewelry, especially leather garments to cut up and use. Show and tell: Got any great methods for making fairy wings or cool make-up Ideas? Come share them with the group! I will also bring the leather tools for anyone who has not made their name badge or bracelet yet. Bring your favorite drinks and munchies. See you there! Gnor Bodi!
