Girlfriends à la "Sex and the City"

Can't afford Manolo's, but long for the easy camaraderie of that fabulous foursome? Looking for new girlfriends to laugh, gossip and drink Cosmos with? Like to get dressed up, go out and have fun, whether it's happy hour, checking out the hottest new restaurant, or dancing at the Powerhouse? Sure, there are lots of social meet-ups, but sometimes you just want to hang with the girls, whether it's shopping, guy watching, concerts in the park or catching the latest chick flick -- with the chicks!! Friends make life worth living and who among us couldn't use a few more? My friends are 20s to 40s, both married and single, but no restrictions as long as you are fun and young at heart. Me -- currently single, one cat, one "Elizabeth Taylor" dog. I live in Folsom, but am willing to go anywhere there is fun to be had. Hey girls!
One of my favorite cover bands, Wonderbread 5, is back at one of my favorite places, Powerhouse Pub. Wonderbread 5 plays a great mix of 70s and 80s music and whether you are 25 or 55, you won't feel out of place at the Powerhouse Pub, because there is a great mix of ages having a good time. There's an outdoor patio for nights when the weather is nice, which it definitely should be by mid-May. Read more
