My name is Amy, I live in Kaukauna, have 3 kids. I write romance, mostly because I think it is "lacking" in my own life! I have one book published, it is called True Montana Heart and you can look it up on amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. I love writing about cowboys and kick-butt women. I am also a member of the Greater Green Bay area chapter of the Romance Writers of America.

Hey, I'm Stacy and I live in Seymour. Not married, no kids (ya'll know anybody? tongue). I'm disappointed that the meeting was canceled; I was really looking forward to it! I think it would be stimulating and fun to talk to somebody else about the process of writing...

I write *mostly* romance too, although most of it comes out as fanfiction (don't think less of me, 'k?). As a result, other stuff gets wound into my stories: war, supernatural things, crime. Just depends on the genre. But ultimately I write about complicated love stories. I have no drama in my life, so I need to invent my own, I guess! biggrin

Since most of what I do is fanfic, I'm not looking to get published, other than the web, that is. You can check out my Fanfiction.net site at here. I've also got some stories at my personal website here. My current scribbling is called Falling, which I'm finally getting to the end of after like 3 years! I'd really appreciate any thoughts anybody has! Fanfiction presumes the reader knows the characters and overall situation going in, so if ya have any questions, feel free to ask! I'll be happy to clear anything up.

I was really dissapointed to cancel the meeting too, because I was so looking forward to meeting some people and I don't really have any other friends who are writers! Hopefully I can recruit a couple more members in the next couple weeks, I was hoping to get a really solid group of about 10-15 people, and then we will meet for sure at the end of May. If we don't get that many people, we can just meet at my house if no one has a problem with that. Also, I should have thought ahead a little more, because this month I have been crazy-busy getting ready for our big Romance Writers of America conference in Green Bay.
I'm going to go check out your websites after I'm done here!
