Fifties & Fabulous Meet Up

I wanted to form a meet-up to get other women in their 5th (or 6th) decade of life together. Between work, family and other obligations, its not always easy to meet other women in the community and I think this is a great way to get us all together. I want to meet in a local restaurant to get to know everyone and afterwards we can plan to meet for dinner, drinks, coffee or anything else we can think of to do in the area. My ideas of a good meet up would be a wine tasting event, jazz concert (in the park), theatre, flea markets and even bowling (why not?). Maybe your reading a fantastic book right now.. lets meet in a coffee shop & discuss it! Whatever your think might make a fabulous meet up... come to one of our meetings and share it!

The Tampa Women's Social May Meeting
It's our 2nd Fifties & Fabulous meet up. We will meet at Peggy's home for a Saturday brunch and we ask that you bring a dish and/or drinks. When you RSVP could you also include the dish that you plan on bringing so we don't have too many of a good thing!! Looking forward to seeing everyone from the last gathering and seeing a few new faces.

"The next meeting with actually be 24 May. One of the ladies (Peggy) has offered to have the next Meet Up at her house. She will post all the information soon. Apparently the location defaults to the last one. Just check over the next day or two and it should give the correct information for our next monthly meeting. "Hi Linda The first meet up was so good. We were there for 3 hours getting to each other and sharing ideas for future meet ups. I haven't posted the next meet up yet. In fact one of the members wanted to have the next one (last Sat in May) at her home. But nothing is set yet. I'll post it soon.
