Social/Philanthropic/Networking....FUN!

I decided to start this group to meet other women in Iowa City, especially those who own their own businesses. The purpose of the group will be to network and offer support and friendship. This group is limited to one business in each market; i.e. one lawyer, one massage therapist, one Chiropractor, one Realtor etc.  

This is a free meetup for Women and Men in the Iowa City/Coralville and surrounding areas to get to know each other and network. We like to discuss current events, host presentations from local businesses, watch videos, and sometimes just hang out and socialize. This is an opportunity for people to have fun in a supportive environment while discussing issues that impact us all.  (Snacks will frequently be involved!)

This is a group for queer folks in Iowa City and environs to build community. Events may lean toward to interests of queer women, but I want it to be inclusive and include queer men, trans folks, allies, etc. I particularly enjoy hiking, biking, salsa dancing, frisbee golf, women's basketball, roller derby, drag shows, and fancy cocktails. Your tastes may vary.
