We are a diverse group. Some of us may have adult children who have moved away, some have children who have moved back home again, some are married, divorced, widowed, single. The one thing we have in common is that we want to meet other women of our age who will both laugh and cry with us.

The purpose of this group is to provide a fun way for women to get fit by learning to play Australian Rules Football, incorporating a non-contact version of the game called "Rec Footy" . During the winter time we will have events at local gyms and during the summer we will have practices meant to help us get fit and learn to play Footy. Sister Spokesman is a monthly event designed to bring African American women of all ages together in a relaxing environment for networking…at no cost.
